2008 CGU General Scholarship Guideline for International Students
The scholarship is offered by The Ministry of Education to CGU degree international students (doesn¡¯t apply to overseas compatriot students). Please refer to the following regulation for the eligibility. For detailed guidelines of the scholarship, please refer to the attachment.
u Eligibility: international students who meet any of the following qualifications may apply for the scholarship.
1. For undergraduate students, applicants must have enrolled in the University for more than one semester, completed a minimum of nine credits in the previous semester, and achieved an average result of above seventy points in the accomplished yeas.
2. For graduate students, applicants must have enrolled in CGU for more than one semester and taken at least one course for each semester, achieved an average result of above seventy five points in the accomplished yeas.
3. Graduate students, who are writing a thesis and do not have any academic record from the last semester, shall submit their thesis proposal and a recommendation letter from their advisor.
u Application Period: 1st ¡ª30th June, 2008 (Late or incomplete application will not be processed.)
u Application Procedure: Send the required documents to the Center for International Academic Cooperation (13F, Management Building).

1. Application form
2. A copy of official Chinese transcript of the accomplished years
3. Recommendation letter of advisor and proposal.
4. Applications that are incomplete or do not meet the requirements shall be rejected.
