  Profile of the Craniofacial Center 

    The Craniofacial Center at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital comprises of a team of dedicated craniofacial surgeons, dentists, speech & language therapists, psychologists, social workers, coordinators, and nurses. We provide professional medical and surgical care to patients afflicted by a broad spectrum of craniofacial pathologies. Our craniofacial center is arguably one of the busiest in the world. Since 1976, we have treated over 30,000 patients born with cleft lip and palate and thousands of other patients with various congenital and acquired craniofacial deformities. Our team has been devoted to providing wholistic, patient-oriented medical care in a multidisciplinary approach. The strong research orientation of the center gives us the ability to provide the highest level of care.

  Service Volume 

    The Craniofacial Centre at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital is continually expanding in scope and volume of service. To date, the centre has managed over 30,000 cases of cleft lip and palate, 400 cases of microtia, 100 cases of neurofibroma, 100 cases of fibrous dysplasia, 3000 cases of orthognathic surgery, and 2000 cases of facial bone remodeling. The sheer volume of cases encountered enables refinement of patient management through clinical research and education.
